Ingredients

Cheesy Ranch Blend
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Cinnamon Sugar Delight
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla powder
Spicy Chili Lime
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Parmesan Herb
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • fresh cracked black pepper
Chocolate Drizzle
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Method

Main Instructions
  1. Start with 8 cups of freshly popped popcorn. The warmth helps seasonings stick better, so timing is everything.
  2. Combine your selected seasoning ingredients in a small bowl, whisking thoroughly to ensure even distribution. For the chocolate drizzle, gently melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in 15-second microwave intervals.
  3. Lightly spray or drizzle your warm popcorn with olive oil or melted butter to help seasonings adhere. Sprinkle your DIY popcorn seasoning mixture over the popcorn, tossing gently with clean hands or a large spoon.
  4. Give everything a final gentle shake in a large bowl or clean paper bag. Taste and adjust seasoning levels as needed.

Notes

Store seasoned popcorn in airtight containers at room temperature for up to 3 days. Individual seasoning blends keep fresh in sealed jars for 6 months. Don't over-oil popcorn as this creates soggy kernels. Apply seasonings to warm popcorn for better adherence. Can substitute nutritional yeast with powdered cheese, vanilla powder with extra cinnamon, or lemon zest for lime.
