Ingredients

  • 1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls (12 count)
  • 1 pound sliced deli turkey
  • 8 oz Swiss cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom connected as one unit. Place the bottom half in a 9x13 baking dish.
  2. Spread the turkey evenly across the bottom rolls, ensuring each future slider gets its fair share. Layer the cheese over the turkey. Replace the top half of the rolls, maintaining that perfect slider shape.
  3. Whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, onion flakes, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
  4. Generously brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls, allowing it to pool slightly around the edges. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove the foil and bake an additional 5 minutes until the tops turn golden brown and the cheese melts completely.
  6. Let the sliders rest for 3-4 minutes before cutting along the original roll lines.

Notes

Can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated up to 24 hours before baking. Leftover sliders keep in refrigerator for up to 3 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months when wrapped properly. Don't skip the foil during initial baking to prevent tops from browning too quickly. Let cool 3-4 minutes before cutting to prevent cheese from sliding out.
